Stutman Law aggressively pursues product defect claims against numerous plumbing product
manufacturers and distributors. In doing so, we have developed significant expertise in different types of
products and their common failure modes. In one recent case involving a water loss at a residential
property, Stutman Law determined that the loss occurred because a toilet fill valve suffered a cracked
lower shaft, permitting water to escape the toilet and flood the property. That failure mode is a common
one indicating the existence of a product defect. Stutman Law identified the fill valve’s manufacturer,
alleged the existence of a defect and negotiated a sizable pre-suit settlement.
