On July 29, 2022, a wildfire started near Highway 96 and McKinney Creed Road, southwest of Klamath River in Siskiyou County, California and consumed 60,138 acres of land before the fire was contained. Stutman Law is following the investigation of this wildfire for potential subrogation recovery. Early reports indicate the fire was caused by Pacific Power high voltage lines coming into contact with nearby trees.
