On August 18, 2021, a wildfire started near Sawmill Road and NF-25S02, 5 miles west of Lake Isabella in Kern County, California. The fire consumed 26,702 acres of land before it was contained. Preliminary investigation indicates this fire was human-caused. Further information is needed to determine if there is any potential subrogation recovery.
